Betty Lou Sherman, 82, of Slidell, TX, passed away on May 30, 2022 in Denton TX.

Visitation will be 12pm-2pm, Friday, June 3rd 2022 at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral & Chapel, Fort Worth TX

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, June 3, 2022 at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral & Chapel, Fort Worth TX, with Brother Joe Tims of Tabernacle Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral & Chapel. Arrangements are by Shannon Rose Hill Funeral & Chapel.

Betty was born in Humphrey, AR to Oren Columbus Wright & Vida Estell Wright on December 17, 1939. She went to school in Humphrey. She married Walter Sherman on July 21, 1956. She worked for World Baptist Fellowship for 21 years. She belonged to Tabernacle Baptist Church of Roanoke.

Betty is preceded in death by father, Oren Wright; mother, Estelle Wright; sister, Gail Hall; husband, Walter Sherman; and son, Tony Sherman.

Betty is survived by siblings, Peggy Carr and Theresa & Allen Whittington; grandchildren, Brandi & Seth Ingram, Corey Sherman, and Garrett & Julie Sherman; great-grandchildren, Jaden, Reylee, Seth, Paisley, Ben, Ryan & Kimber.

Pallbearers will be Garrett, Seth, Jaden, Travis, Gary & Larry, if needed.
