Bonnie Susanne Minton, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones February 4, 2025. Born in Paragould, Arkansas, Susanne was the daughter of Marley Keith and Tera Belle Arnold, and she was a long-time resident of Fort Worth.
Susanne met her husband James in Midland, Texas, and they married in 1957 and moved to Fort Worth soon after. They began a love affair that spanned 50 years. Susanne’s family was her greatest joy, and she devoted her life to taking care of Jim and their six wonderful children. She was a loving mother, Grammy, sister, aunt, and neighborhood mom to many over the years. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Susanne was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Minton, daughter, Kelli Minton Kielman, and great-grandson, Cooper Jameson Lee.
She is survived by her five children and their spouses, Janna and Randy Henderson, Brynn Pratho, Jamie and CDR Scott Ellis (Ret.), Chandler and Michael Colahan, and Cole and Holly Minton; siblings, Barbara Arnold Collins and Larry Arnold and their families; fourteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home Monday, February 10, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm. A funeral service will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 11am followed by burial at DFW National Cemetery.
