He was born April 23, 1928 to George and Faye Gwin in Fredonia, Kansas. He married Margaret Rosser on February 14, 1959. She predeceased him on September 17, 2012. Charles was a member of Silver Creek United Methodist Church and prior at Handley Methodist Church. He was an educator in the HEB district for many years. He received his BA from TCU in 1957 and MA in 1959.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers James, Fred Richard, and Edward. Survived by his brothers George and wife Dawn Gwin and Tommy Gwin as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 on Tuesday, February 20th at Shannon Rose Hill with the funeral on Wednesday, February 21st at 2:00 pm.
