Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Friday, July 10, in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.

Connie was born Jan. 28, 1942, to James Reuben Rogers and Leota Vivian Gray Rogers. She graduated from Breckenridge High School and attended Hardin Simmons University. She worked for the Fort Worth ISD for 15 years. She was a member of Southcliff Baptist Church and loved vacationing in Colorado more than anything.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Reuben Rogers; mother, Leota Vivian Gray Rogers; and grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Survivors: Her loving husband of 49 years and nine months, Donn M. Caldwell; daughter, Kimberley Williams and son-in-law, Aaron Williams, of Killeen; granddaughters, Kayla Swan of Lawrence, Kan., and Megan Swan of Killeen; son, Darrell Caldwell and daughter-in-law, Anna Caldwell, granddaughter, Haley, and grandson, Ashton, all of Castle Pines, Colo.; stepsisters, Darla Payne, Diana Howl and Doris Watson; and stepbrothers, Delbert and Doug Hunsinger.
