First I'd like to express my heartfelt condolences and prayers for Dan and his family. I am just finding out about his passing. 
Me and Dan both served in the Air Force at Carswell AFB. I was stationed there from 87-91 and Dan was one of my supervisors. Dan was a great guy and great leader. I had the utmost respect for him and he taught so much about the job. 
I last saw Dan a few months before he passed away as we met for lunch a few times at the Chili's in Watauga on 377. 
Again I'm sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers go to Dan and his family. 

Such a friendly person. He sure did love his big brother Rich.  They are both up in heaven, joking around and playing practical jokes on everyone.  He will be missed. He left great memories that will go on forever. 

Old schoolmate of Dan's, far back in time. Memories made on street corners, and playgrounds may fade as the years pass, but the shared smiles will never end. Sorry for the loss, rest in peace.

Danny And I went through grade school and high school together. He was such a sweet guy and always a kind friend. We would wrestle in my front yard and have fun just goofing around together. Such a sweetheart he was. May his soul be at peace forever. Prayers and condolences to his family and friends.

Danny was a really neat guy all through high school. He was a true friend and was alot of fun. I will always have fond memories of him. May you rest in peace and thank you for your service. You truly made a difference Danny in alot of people's lives.  God bless. 

Gonna miss you brother, especially that laugh. My thoughts and prayers to the family.

Rest In Peace Dan. God has a better plan for taking you so young. Sonny and I always enjoyed your company and the many times you made us laugh with your jokes and your nature.Your Home Now and I’m praying God comforts your love ones grieving .

Smokin Stokan!! Dan worked with my dad at Rhein Main. I was a long haired little kid an I can remember just how damned funny Dan was. He was always giving me grief about my hair but did so in a sarcastic Stokan kinda way that always made me laugh. He will truly be missed. 

My Uncle Dan has always served an an inspiration to me. His giant heart and infectious smile affected everyone he encountered. He will be truly missed. All my best to the family and friends that come together to celebrate his life and legacy.  In his honor, a brick paver will be installed at the USAF Airman Heritage Museum on the Joint Base San Antonio - Lackland's parade grounds.

I am so sorry to here about Dan. I had the pleasure of serving with Dan at McChord and had many pleasure able times with him even washing trucks in full chem gear for a bet. He will be missed, prayers for your family. Mr. B

Dan and I were both stationed at Carswell, different squadrons but didn't meet until he started working at the Post Office.   He always made a mundane job fun.   Always seemed to have a joke or story up his sleeve.   I don't think there was ever one time in our many conversations that he didn't mention "his girls" he was one proud dad and step dad!  
Deepest condolences to Dan's family, RIP my friend. 

I had the honor of meeting Dan Stokan as young NCO's at Rhein-Main AB Germany in the early 1980's.  Dan was always full of energy, positive and simply fun to be around.  He loved his family and the Air Force he so proudly served!   RIP my Friend.

TSgt Dan Stokan was one of my First NCOs assigned to me at my very first assignment at McChord AFB, WA. from 1992-1996. Dan taught me so much, mentored me and guided me. He was great Supervisor, boss, Sergeant and a great friend. We had many laughs outside at the smoke pit behind the 62nd Fuels Squadron building... he will be missed. RIP SARGEANT DAN STOKAN. 

I met Dan in Germany while in the Air Force. He was a great asset to the career field we were in.
He will be missed.

I knew Dan from Schrum grade school to T.F. North High School. I lost touch with him after high school like many of us however Facebook brought a lot of us back in touch with each other. I spoke with Dan many times through Facebook and it seemed like time stood still he was the same fun loving, caring person whom I had known all these years. I am so sorry to hear about his passing.  My deepest condolences to Dan's family. Until we meet again my friend Rest in Peace and may God be with you.

We were so sorry to hear of Dan's passing.  Earl and I have such fond memories of Dan ,  Kay and their girls, Courtney and Michelle, when we lived in  Rhein Main, Germany.   

Despite Dan being Air Force, and Earl being Army, we developed a great camaraderie .  Dan was such a character.
