He was married to his beloved wife, Virginia, for an incredible 59 years, a testament to their enduring love and partnership.
Dan proudly served in the United States Air Force, demonstrating his commitment to his country and instilling a sense of duty and honor in those who knew him. His service was a significant part of his life, one that he cherished deeply.
After his military service, Dan worked for John Deere for many years as a heavy and farm equipment mechanic. He was dedicated to his craft and took great pride in his work.
Additionally, Dan was a proud long-time member of the American Legion, reflecting his continued commitment to serving his community and fellow veterans.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Virginia, and their two sons, Dennis, together with his wife Michele, and Jason, alongside his wife Debra. Dan's family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Additionally, he is survived by his grandchildren:
Chantry and his wife Betsy, Colton, Connor, Dakota, Erin and her husband James, Raylen, Ty and his wife Mackenzie. His great-grandchild Nora was a special light in his life.
In addition to his immediate family, Dan leaves behind a network of friends and loved ones who will remember his kind heart, warm smile, and unwavering loyalty. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness and generosity.
