To family of the late Darryl Bell
Just a note to share my sympathies to the family. Darryl was a dear friend and classmate"class of 1970". He was one of the friendliest persons in the world. When God made him he broke the mold. He was loved by many. He was an asset to the PISD for many years and his students and other facility members. He will surely be missed by all of us.

I was so blessed to have called Mr. Bell, my friend.   I had the good fortune of growing up with him as a friend and classmate, and later as a co-worker.  He was just a blessing to all who knew him.  
Mr. Bell was such a wonderful role model for the students that he engaged with. He gave them the ability to see life more clearly through his encouraging  words of hope and reason.  He was greatly respected as a leader and  a friend who always had the “ right  words” for any situation.  His words helped students better understand how to cope with anger and  frustrations that life sometimes presents.
I am a better person just for having had him in my life and as an educator.
Mr. Bell  was God’s gift to us all!


Please share our condolences with the family. Darryl was a classmate of ours. We played football together in high school. He was an amazing football player and a good friend to both of us. We remember him fondly

I worked with Mr Bell back in the 1990’s at Palestine Middle School. He was a wonderful man who only wanted what was best for the students. I never saw him without a smile on his face. My condolences to his family. He is in the arms of Jesus now. Donna Barnett

Just a note to say I'm thankful to have known such a good & kind boy in school.  I am sad to hear of his passing but at peace knowing where he will be forever now. My prayers & love to  you all, his family & friends.

I loved Mr. Bell!!! He was always so kind and patient and loving with my brother and me when we were in school! He was a good man and he will be missed!!!

He was a great person,a cool person,a real person,a many of many words when need be,,always on students to do what we need to,to face the world,STAY IN SCHOOL,work hard,,get to class.....RIP MR.BELL,,,ALWAYS REMEMBERED
