David Mason, a probation officer with Tarrant County, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at a local care center. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, the Rev. William T. Glynn, pastor, officiating. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: Family and friends of Mr. Mason will gather at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday for a time of reflection. Mr. Mason was a graduate of Texas Christian University where he earned a bachelor's and master's degrees and also enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. The love of his life, Helen Marie Bryant Mason, preceded him in death in 2007. Survivors: Left to cherish his memory are children, Billy Johnson and Michael G. Mason (Sharon); grandchildren, Katina Robinson(Kenneth), Natasha Christian (Anthony), Brian Burman (Shelly), David Mason Jr., Mykol Mason and Shaunda Williams; and other relatives and friends.
