

Dexter Glen Henderson Jr., lovingly known as “Dee” came into this world on August 24, 1984. As a child, he was calm and shy, but behind those curious eyes was a heart full of warmth that would later shine through in the many lives he touched. On September 15, 2025, Dexter departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and cherished memories that will forever be remembered by many. Dexter grew up in Arlington, Texas, where he discovered his love for sports and fitness. He proudly played football for Kennedale High School and adopted the passion for many other hobbies along the way. His high school years shaped some of his most important bonds, including lifelong friendships with Paul, Pierre and Jarvey. After graduating, Dexter attended the University of Texas, where he briefly explored culinary school. While he enjoyed cooking and creativity, he ultimately discovered his true passion in fitness and music production. He later pursed a career as a personal fitness trainer and co-owned a successful music production studio in Fort Worth, Texas. As life unfolded, Dexter continued to reinvent himself and pursed new passions along the way. He built a career as a professional day trader, using his focus and discipline to succeed in the financial markets. During his downtown, he worked as a transportation driver, where his reliability and work ethic flourished. Dexter’s ability to adapt, grow, and succeed in different paths was a true reflection his resilience and determination. Throughout his life, Dexter valued family and time with loved ones above all else. Though quiet at times, those who knew him best understood that he expressed his love through his actions, his presence, and his unshakable support for the people he cared about. Family and friends will remember Dexter not just for the life he lived, but for the love he gave. His story is not only about his years on this earth, but about the countless memories, lessons, and moments of love he left behind. Though his journey ended too soon, the legacy of his spirit continues to everyone who was blessed to know him. Dexter leaves behind his loving mother, Janice Williams; his devoted sister, Toncita Henderson; his bonus father, Charles Williams; his father, Dexter G. Henderson Sr.; his grandmother, Billye Henderson; his aunt, Valesta Henderson; his uncle, Michael Mitchell; his nephew, DTarion Booker and his cherished cousins, Janay Mitchell, Kelsey Mitchell, Justice Strong, and Julius Strong. Preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Marjorie Henderson, and his grandfather, Artis Henderson. He also leaves behind countless friends and extended family who will forever treasure his memory. His life reminds us that sometimes the quietest souls leave the loudest echoes in our hearts. Though he may be gone from our sight, Dexter will never be gone from our hearts.
