She married Archie Scott in June of 1949 in Oklahoma City whom she shares four children - Barbara, Perry, Pansy, and Darrell. She later married Harold J. Comer Sr. on January 24, 1959, in Oklahoma with whom she shares one child, Harold J. Comer Jr. Dora worked in a grocery store, Fridgette factory, and childcare services. She was a faithful member of East Ridge Baptist Church in Granbury, Texas.
She is preceded in death her former husband, Archie Scott; her husband, Harold J. Comer Sr.; her two children, Pansy McManis and Darrell Scott; and one great grandson, Dakota Lem.
She was survived by her children, Barbara J. Scott Lem, Perry B. Scott, and Harold J. Comer Jr.; three stepdaughters, Sandra Goodman, Sheila Mayer, and Sharon Berry; and a host of grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Her visitation will be held at Laurel Land Fort Worth on August 29th from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, and will be followed by funeral and committal services.
