Devoted Daughter of Christ:
Doretha’s life was rooted in the Lord from an early age. She was raised in a Christian home by her mother, Clementine Dean, a God-fearing woman of great faith whose love for Christ was known by all who knew her. Through her mother’s example, Doretha learned the value of prayer, humility, and trusting God through every season of life.
Following in her mother’s footsteps, Doretha carried those same values into her own home. She believed in raising her family in the fear and admonition of the Lord, making sure her daughter and grandchildren were brought up in the church and taught to know God for themselves. Her faith was not only spoken, but lived daily through kindness, strength, and service to others.
Doretha was a faithful member of Abiding Word Church, where she worshiped under the leadership of Pastor Bruce Yanc F She loved the Lord deeply, and her life stood as a testimony of God’s grace, mercy, and enduring love.
