Dorothy was born in Van Alstyne on May 30, 1926. She graduated from Poly High in 1944, and was married to James Rogers in 1968 in Fort Worth. Dorothy retired from Harbison Fisher. She was a member of Cana Baptist Church, Huguley Hospital Auxiliary, Burleson Senior center bingo group, and Red Hatters. She loved to party, and travel around the world.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, James E Rogers; parents, Arnold and Marie Burns; one grandson; and one great grandson;
Survivors: She is survived by children, Jeanne Ann Wallace, Steven York, and Patricia Carroll; twelve grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
