Draga Ficur

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Draga Ficur, who left us on May 23rd 2026 at the age of 70. She was a beloved mother, wife, sister and friend and her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Born on 3/28/56 in Luscani, Draga Ficur was the child of Janko and Ruza. Draga defied life and norms and was one of the toughest women we knew. She had fierce love for family and friends and planted beautiful gardens everywhere she went. Draga felt her best out in the sun surrounded by flowers and dogs. The nature always responded to her beautifully and with such ease. Her house was always full of thriving plants and she also loved to cook, dance, sing and read poetry.

Draga Ficur is survived with deep sorrow by [husband Branko, daughters Misela and Sanela] and many more family and friends.

Draga Ficur was preceded in death by her father Janko, mother Ruza and sister Ljubica.

The family invites relatives and friends to a celebration of Draga Ficur's life on May 29th at 12:00 PM, to be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home & Memorial Park. The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Draga Ficur’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
