

received his formal education through the Fort Worth Independent School District and in 1974 he graduated from the Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School. He was a devoted man of God, and a member of the love sanctuary Church of God in Christ for many years where he served as a faithful usher. He then moved his membership to Kings Haven where he was ordained as a deacon and served until his health
declined.
He was a family man and believe strongly in the unity of family. He was well known for his skills on the barbecue grill, as the "Pit Master". And his leisure time he loved to take road trips with his wife, while they were being foodies & enjoying life. He served as head football coach for at least a decade for the Forest Hill Youth Association, taking his young men to many Championships. He was a hard-working man, he was employed at Westgate Fabric for 25 years and also worked as a supervisor for Hydro - Rig until his health declined in 2015.
December 7, 2021 at about 11:11 pm, God thought he'd end the day with welcoming Eddie Crossley, Jr. home; to spend his first Christmas reunited with his parents, Eddie Crossley, Sr. & Christine Crossley; and his sisters, Brenda Tamayo & Jackie Crossley. He leaves to cherish his memory: his Loving Wife of 40 years, Sherry Crossley; 5 children, Eddie Crossley, Marion Williams, Timothy Crossley, Edward Crossley & Michael Crossley; 1 sister, Patricia Peace (Author); 19 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
