Eddie Dean Martinez went to be with his Lord on October, 30, 2016, and will be deeply missed by his family and innumerable friends. Eddie was born August 22, 1943 to Victor and Marie Martinez in Bridgeport, Texas. Eddie was a man of strong faith in God. He loved his wife, Alma, of 37 years, five children, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He never met a stranger, and could talk all day to anyone. Eddie was an active father participating in the activities of his children. He coached his two sons, Eric and Christopher, in baseball and football from pee-wee and t-ball through high school. He had a love for the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a competitive fisherman and enjoyed beating anyone in size and quantity of fish. With his experiences, he was always a great story-teller and could keep the attention of anyone. We remember Eddie today with high respect and love as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. The family appreciates everyone for coming today to be with us and honor Eddie’s memory, which will live on forever. Eddie will be missed, but never forgotten.
