Mrs. Edna Earl Berger, age 84, of Yantis, passed away peacefully to be with our Lord, in the Lake Fork area of Texas on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Edna was reunited with her husband of 64 years Walter Bob Berger, Jr. who passed December 17, 2024.
Edna Earl "Lakey" Berger was born in Huntington, Texas on April 14, 1941 to Edmond and Norma Lakey(Capps). Edna was a graduate of Tech High School in Fort Worth and a dedicated wife, mother, and employee of Tandy Craft and subsidiaries.
Edna had many life-long friends and neighbors and left behind 2 sons, Jeffery Bob Berger and Gregory Allen Berger, and daughter in law Susan Berger, her five grandsons, Dylan, Jeffrey, Tyler, Joe Bob, and Walter Kyle, and two great grandchildren, Bayleigh and Avery Berger.
A visitation for Edna will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134. A committal service will occur Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 3:15 PM to 3:45 PM, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134.
