Eddie Rodriguez, age 68, passed away on April 2, 2026. He was born on December 1, 1957, in Galveston, Texas, to Edward Rodriguez and Billie Jean Rodriguez, who both preceded him in death. He later made his home in North Richland Hills, Texas.
Eddie is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Laura Rodriguez, whose partnership and love with him was truly one of a kind. Together, they built a life that many admired-one rooted in respect, laughter, and a deep, unbreakable bond. He also leaves behind his three children, Trey Rodriguez, Maegan Martin, and Blake Rodriguez, as well as six cherished grandchildren who brought him immense pride and joy. To his wife and children, Eddie was their "Superman” a steady source of strength, love, and protection.
He is also survived by his sisters, Wanda Jean Stephens and Betty Ann Halsell, and was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Jane Hartman and Elizabeth Ann Brown.
Eddie was a man who knew how to balance dedication and enjoyment. He worked hard throughout his life, always providing for his family, but he also made time to enjoy the things he loved. He and Laura shared many special memories traveling on cruises together, embracing life's adventures side by side. He had a passion for riding his Harley-Davidson, finding freedom and peace on the open road.
More than anything, Eddie will be remembered for the kind of man he was. He had a warm smile that could light up a room, a selfless nature, and a willingness to listen that made everyone feel heard and valued. He was a devoted father, a proud and loving grandfather, and a husband whose marriage stood as an example of true love.
While we have lost a great man, heaven has gained a beautiful angel.
Eddie Rodriguez leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love that will live on through all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
