A Brief Sketch of Life for Elbert Ross Tatum

He is preceded in death by both of his parents Ollie and Geneva Tatum, brother, Dwight Erwin Tatum, and sister Neva Dorcas Tatum. Born October 29,1949, in Fort Worth, Texas. On Wednesday December 20, 2023, the angel of silence entered his life.

Throughout his education years, Ross was home schooled by his mother. Ross loved every one of his cousins. When he moved to California he missed home. Daily, He would try and connect with some of his favorite relatives, Otis, Annetta, Donna, Horace, Barbara, John, Toni and niece LaTrice, and they would call him to check on him.

Ross had a NICK Name 'Boss Man' given him by Otis Taylor. While in Fort Worth TX he was employed as a custodian working for Mrs. Pearilee for many years. We will miss both Him and his infectious smile of laughter.

To continue his legacy, Ross leaves behind to cherish his beloved brother, Ronnie Tatum (Jeannette) of Tracy California, two nieces, LaTrice Tatum-Kinney (Marcus) of Arlington, Texas, Kaneisha Forrest of Chino Hills, California, three nephews Ronnie Tatum Jr. of Los Angeles, California, Erwin Teal and Jimel Teal of Fort Worth, Texas and host of other relatives and friends.
