FORT WORTH -- Emuel Robert Glenn Jr., pastor of Love Chapel Church of God in Christ in Grapevine, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus, Saturday, June 8, 2013, at his residence with his loving family at his side.
Homegoing Celebration: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Church-Unleashed, 800 Kimbell Ave., Southlake, the Rev. Denny D. Davis, gracious host pastor, Bishop T.W. Johnson, eulogist. Burial: 1 p.m. Monday in Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors, and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Love Chapel Church of God in Christ in Grapevine.
Survivors: Pastor Glenn leaves in God's care, his loving and devoted wife, Debra Reliford Glenn; son, Dr. Chevis J. Glenn (Jessalynn); brothers, James O. Ferrell (Shirley), Dwight E. Glenn, Supt. Jimmy Glenn (Sylvia), Robert Glenn II (Tina); mother, Dixie Glenn; sister, Missionary Betty J. Greene; three grandchildren, Lailah, Natalia, Mya; and a host of other relatives, church family and friends.
