Service: 3:00 pm Thursday February 1, 2018 at Laurel Land Main Chapel. Visitation: 6pm to 8 pm Wednesday at Laurel Land. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Ione was married to Wesley Roberson on February 3, 1950 in Fairy, Tx. She worked in customer service for Everman Pharmacy, Eckerds, and CVS. Ione's passion was her family and friends. Her favorite past time was watching her grandchildren play sports, she was their biggest fan. She enjoyed outdoors and you would often find her walking the track at Everman. Her love of life was evident in her smile, which was always present, even during her stuggle with Alzheimers. She was a huge Dallas Cowboy's Fan and always had the family over on Sundays to cook a big meal and watch the game.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Roberson; and five siblings.

Survivors: Ione is survived by her children, Roland and wife Rosemary Roberson of Everman, Ricky and wife Cindy Roberson of Crowley, Randy and Wife Robyn Roberson of Arlington, and Robin and husband Doug Scarberry of Alvarado; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and sister Yvonne Feaster of New Braunfels.
