Service: 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Friday in Milwee Cemetery in Arkansas.
Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Fort Worth.
Eunice was born to Forrest and Hettie Lovell in De Queen, Ark., in January of 1924. "Granny" will be sorely missed by her family and many friends.
She has joined in heaven her parents; husband of 58 years, Arnold Edward Nix; son, Ronald Edward Nix; nine brothers; and one sister.
Survivors: Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son, Melvin Lee Nix (Kathy) of San Antonio; grandchildren, Rhonda Nix and partner, Florence Simmons, Kimberly Nix, all of Fort Worth, Corey Nix (Tanya) of Pittsburgh, Pa., Kindra Nix of San Antonio; great-grandchildren, Bradley, David, John, Samantha; great-great-grandchildren, Jade, Cameron, Kaylee, Layla, Austin, Charlie; daughter-in-law, Teri Nix; many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
