A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Alliance United Methodist Church, 7904 Park Vista Blvd., Fort Worth, 76137.
She was born in Christy, Ky., on Dec. 2, 1926, and graduated from Morehead High School in Morehead, Ky. She married Donald E. Sturdevant on April 23, 1955.
She was a member of the Alliance United Methodist Church and as part of Silver Alliance made pillows for heart patients and breast cancer patients as well as baby blankets for newborns.
Eva was a retired cafeteria assistant manager for the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD near Houston.
Eva had a passion for family, cooking, sewing and helping others. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Donald Sturdevant.
Survivors: Eva is survived by her daughter, Janet; her sons, James "Jim" and wife, Rebecca, and Mark and wife, Alison; granddaughters, Heather and Sarah; brother, Fred Burton of Ohio; and a host of relatives in Kentucky and Ohio and friends in the DFW area.
