Frances "Jill" Duffy Rambo, born on August 6, 1939, in Spencer, Iowa, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Jill was the sixth of seven children born to Alice and Ward Duffy. In 1948, the Duffy family relocated to Fort Worth, Texas, where Jill would spend the majority of her life.
Jill attended Paschal High School, graduating in 1957. She married and was blessed with eight children. After being widowed in 1971, Jill dedicated many years to working within the Fort Worth Independent School District.
A devout Catholic, Jill's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She found her greatest joy and purpose in her faith and family, particularly her 21 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was a source of unwavering love, selfless guidance, and support to them all.
Jill's legacy is one of resilience, devotion, and boundless love. Her memory will be cherished by her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A private family funeral and burial will be held Friday, at Laurel Land in Fort Worth. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation or Cancer Foundation in Jill's memory.
