Genevieve Sullivan Wood was born in Dallas on April 16, 1923, to B. Leroy Sullivan and Cora Hemphill Sullivan. When she was seven years old her family moved to Graford where she graduated from high school in 1941. She married James L. Wood on May 6, 1948, in Fort Worth. She was a long time member of Trinity Christian Church.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, son Eliot Wood, brother Neal Sullivan, and sisters Betty Sullivan and Mary Conner.
Survivors: Husband of 65 years, James L Wood, son Lee Wood, daughter Elaine Roeger and husband Rick, and grandsons Rusty, Kent and Colin Roeger, as well as many beloved family members and friends.
Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, from 9-10 am. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m.
