

He was a beloved Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather and his presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Born on January 27th, 1941 in Tarrant County, Tx, George Freeman was the child of George Turner Theron and Emma Marie Haney.
Throughout his life, George was known for gardening, raising cattle, and spending time with his granddaughter and great-grandchildren. He devoted his time and energy to his job driving a semi truck for Mrs. Baird’s Bread and volunteering at Briaroaks Fire Department. He also served in the US Navy. He was a big fan of pro wrestling, Texas Rangers baseball, and rodeo.
He is survived by daughter Darlene Jeffress( Rodney), granddaughter Jessica Del Real, great-grandchildren Draven Coleman, Dara Del Real, Della Del Real, and many more family and friends. George was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn Freeman.
The family invites relatives and friends to a celebration of George Theron Freeman’s life on February 12th at 2pm, to be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home, Chapel of Chimes in Ft. Worth, Tx. Viewing will be from 12-2pm on the same day.
The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. George Freeman's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
