Service: 2 PM Monday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
George graduated from Northside High School in 1949 and was also a graduate of TCU. He was a member of the Handley Masonic Lodge #1140.
George was also a member of Moslah Temple Shrine and was the Potentate in 1991.
He is preceded by his brothers, James and Oneal and sister, Betty Jo.
He is survived by his wife, Wynola Nelson; daughters, Georgia and Tim Rippin and Luanne and Joseph Langley; grandsons, Bailey Smith and wife Carli and Scott Smith and wife Vicky; as well as three great-grandchildren.
