Gladys Loraine Butler departed this life on June 4, 2024. She was born on January 21,1928 in Houston, Tx. She was 96 years old. Loraine moved to Fort Worth from Alief, Tx, with her family in 1948 and completed high school at Paschal High then attended classes at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Loraine is now celebrating with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and those that have gone before: Her parents, Aquilla Ira Doty and Gladys Julia Bragdon, her sister, Lovell Lucille, her brother Andrus Irvin, and her son David Myrl Watkins. She is survived by her sister, Delores Ann Webb and family, daughter, Lynda Roberts and family including three grandchildren, Nathan Ira, Timothy Joseph, and Jessica Leanne, her three great grandsons, Kyler, Alec, and Seth along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
Viewing and service begin at 10am on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Chapel on the Chimes, Laurel Land Memorial Cem.
