Helen "Pat" Patricia Johnson

SERVICES: A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, from 6-8 pm, at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Committal Services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, at 10:00 am in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Pat will always be remembered as a dedicated wife and mother and for her gardening, crafting, cooking, and painting. She was an avid reader. She was a graduate of Baldwin Business College in Yoakum, Texas. Pat married her childhood sweetheart, Paul, on June 21, 1953. She will be also remembered for her years of dedication to the PTA, where she served as President, often being active with several schools attended by her children at the same time. Following the graduation of their children, several of the mothers banded together for “Funsie Club”, extending their bonds through the years. In retirement, with her husband, Paul, they spent many years traveling with the North Texas Airstream Community and enjoyed sightseeing all over the United States with friends.

Helen "Pat" was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Paul Mack Johnson; and her brother, Otis Hermes, Jr. She is survived by: daughter, Elaine Cowan and her husband Roy; sons, Justin Johnson and his wife Cheryl, Nathan Johnson and his wife Marla, and Charles Johnson; sister, Mary Agnes Brzozowski; grandchildren, Martha Hicks and her husband Sean, Eric Cowan, Sarah Cowan, Blake Johnson, Chase Johnson and his wife Megan, Nick Johnson and Briana Johnson; and great-grandchildren Maximilian Hicks and Fredrick Hicks.
