Herbert W. Frank, 93, passed away Wednesday February 22, 2017. Herbert was born November 12, 1923 in Redfield, IA to Anna Mary Frank and John W. Frank. Herbert joined the Air Force and became a pilot during World War II, in the 462st. Bomb group 1943-1945 and the 310th wing. Upon retiring from the Air Force in 1964, he completed college. He worked at Tandy Wire and Cable from 1976 to 1985. Herbert was an avid student never stopped learning and became a master craftsman in woodworking. He loved gardening, travel, genealogy, and technology. He married Lanise M. Frank in 1985 and they enjoyed travel and family together for 32 years. His wife, Lanise Frank and her sons, Stephen and Michael Riddle. His Children, Terry Frank and wife, Dede, Cynthia and husband, Spencer Simonton, Donna Fernandez, and Bruce Frank; grandchildren, Anthony, Christopher, Stephanie, Gina, Stephen and Brian, Ashley and Austin Riddle; great grandchildren Jevon, Liliana, Donovan, Jace, Braylon, Brianna, Damien, Delia, and Jackson.
