Ignacio was born July 15, 1937, to Sam and Tereza Alcala in Munday. He worked for Bell Helicopter for more than 30 years. Prior to Bell Helicopter, Ignacio flew a crop duster and worked as a harvester. Ignacio was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Ignacio joined in heaven his beloved wife, Aurora, whom he affectionately called "Gordie"; his parents; his nephew, Fabian Jr.; and other family and friends.
Survivors: Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Michael Alcala and wife, Regina, Terri Davilla and husband, Anthony; grandchildren, John Tyler and Ryan Alcala, Brandon and Michael Pickering, Joseph, Justin, Dillon, Jaquelyn, Ana-Lisa, Ramiro and Anthony II Davilla; brothers, Fabian, Pete, Joe, Jimmy and Sammy Alcala; sisters, Lenora Arguijo, Martha Andrade and Bertha Garcia; faithful caregiver, Carmen Cantu; and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family and dear friends.
