Service: Celebration of Life, 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 7 at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Visitation from 4-8 pm Monday at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Elaine began her adventure during the Dust Bowl era in Dixon, California on April 19, 1927. Her adventure continues with her marriage in rural Hickman, Kentucky to Bob Mitchell. Elaine's adventures included being a housewife to an Air Force officer, a mother, a unique social volunteer and finally a Las Vegas gambler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, MAJ. Robert G. Mitchell, Sr. (Ret.), three older sisters and one older brother.
Elaine's memory will be cherished by her son, Robert, one daughter-in-law, Flora, three grandsons, Dustin, Phillip and Jonathan and three great-grandchildren Wayne, Melissa, and last but not least, Daniel.
