James Everett Schooler was born on January 3, 1937 in Fort Worth to Samuel and Daphne Schooler. He grew up and lived most of his life in the Fort Worth area. James was the co-owner of White Star Laundry and Dry Cleaning for over 37 years. He believed in hard work and dedication. James was a member of the Shriner’s organization and a member of the Haltom City-Riverside Lodge #1331 as a Master Mason for twenty five years. When he retired James made it a point to go into town and meet his friends for Sunday morning breakfast. James married the love of his life on August 24, 1984. They shared twenty five years together until her passing in December of 2009. He loved to go to Winstar, have a beer and just play the slots, relaxing and enjoying his hard earned free time. His family remembers him as a wonderful father who also had a strong influence with his grandchildren. Lazy Sundays were spent actively following the Rangers baseball, Cowboys and TCU football. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends alike.
