James was the son of Richard J. Seigh and Susan K. Snyder Seigh. He was a 2000 graduate of Haltom High School where he excelled in music, a member of the show choir, The Haltom Singers, and a tenor in the school choir--singing a solo at Bass Hall--and received an Outstanding Soloist Award at a choir competition at Disney World.
Shortly after he graduated, he went to work at FedEx. In the fall of 2001, he attended the Spartan School of Aeronautics then American Fliers Flight School where he achieved his pilot's license with ILS rating. Health issues caused him to give up flying, but he logged many hours on the flight simulator. He went to work at DFW Airport as a customer service agent and later on with Airport Operation working on the airfield. In 2009 he went back to FedEx where he was currently employed as a courier and a dangerous goods specialist. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers' and Penguins' fan and also the Texas Rangers.
He had a quick smile and wit and never met a stranger. He made a lot of great and close friends along the way.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip, and his grandfather, Robert Snyder.
Survivors: He will be sadly missed by his grandparents, Dick and Irene Seigh and Eleanor Snyder; aunts and uncles, Pat and Karen Seigh, Charlie and Susan Snyder, John and Linda Grimaldi and Wayne Snyder; numerous cousins and extended relatives; close friends, Phillip Vaughn, Brandon and Kyle Wilcox, Matt and Tina Borrows, Matt Andrewartha, Santino Flores, Harvey Thompson; and his FedEx family.
