

A Graveside Service for JK will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112.
JK was born on November 25, 1927 in Valley Head, West Virginia to Arnold and Beulah Ware. He went to school in Valley Head, WV and Burns Flat, OK. He married, the love of his life, Betty Ware on November 15,1963 in Elk City, Oklahoma. JK worked as a purchasing agent for Vandervoort's Dairy for 32 years.
He was a veteran of WWII and served in the U.S. Navy. He had a passion for bowling and was involved in many bowling leagues throughout his life. After retiring in 1997, JK spent time traveling with Betty to Colorado and Win Star, where loved playing the slot machines. His best accomplishment was being a genuine gentleman: loving, kind, passionate, and forgiving. He was truly a special “Grandad” to all!
JK is preceded in death by his father, Arnold Ware, mother, Beulah Ware, wife, Betty Ware, brothers: Eldred Ware and Ashley Ware, son, Dennis Ware and grandson, Troy Taylor.
JK is survived by his daughters: Sheila and husband, DeWayne Taylor and Cindy and husband, Bill Wheeler; brother Don Ware; sisters: Carolee Bedker and Sandy Robinson; his grandchildren: Mary Taylor, Robby Sayles and wife, Jennifer, Corina Taylor, Clint Wheeler, Katina LeJeune, Vanessa Wheeler, Lindsay Taylor and Ty Wheeler and wife, Kim; his great-grandchildren: Taylor Garcia, Ryan Garcia, Johnathan LeJeune, Justin Sayles, Mattie Sayles, Joshua LeJeune, Gabby Weigand, Alyse Garcia, Kendall Propst, Ellie Sayles, JC Wheeler, Christopher Strong, Hannah Weigand, Joshia Wheeler, Bekah Wheeler, Zayne Weigand, Eli Wheeler and Ezra Wheeler; great-great-grandchildren: Declan Garcia, Bristol Garcia and JR Wheeler.
