

A Life Lived By Faith: Jim Earl Kennard
Jim Earl Kennard was born on February 12, 1938, in Crockett, Texas to William Kennard and Arline (Conner) Kennard. From an early age, Jim showed the heart of a warrior and the traits that would define his journey through life.
He received his education in Crocket, Texas. He married Etta J. Tolbert and from this union came four sons, Michael Tolbert, William, Roger and Mark, building a family rooted in love, resilience, and faith.
Jim worked for Johnson & Johnson, from where he retired.
Jim’s greatest joy came from his family, and his love of buying and restoring old cars, remodeling homes and being in the country. Laughter, energy, and love were the lights of his life.
Jim was preceded in death by his beloved parents, William and Arline Kennard; brothers, Harry, Fred, James and Frank Earl Kennard; son Michael Tolbert; grandson Bryan Kennard and great-granddaughter Daja Kennard.
Jim Kennard leaves to mourn and cherish his memories; Ex-wife and friend, Etta; his sons, William, Roger and Mark Kennard; Sister-in-law Barbara Duncan (James) and brother-in-law Charles Tolbert. 13 Grandchildren, 34 Great-Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
His life was a living testimony that with faith, determination, love, and anything is possible.
