Jimmie Dale Doss Sr.

A Wake for Jimmie will be held Monday, November 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Funeral Home, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112, with a Celebration of Life starting at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 8301 Mansfield Hwy, Arlington, Texas 76001.

Jimmie was born to Edgar and Gussie Doss on December 6,1939. He went to school at Wiergate High School, Wiergate Texas. He married his 2nd wife Betty Mae Jones on October 27, 1979 in Fort Worth, Texas. He worked as a bank employee for North Hills National Bank and he also worked as a mail clerk for Cantey Hanger Law Firm. Jimmie was involved in church functions and he served as an usher.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his father, mother, brothers, Edgar Doss Jr., David Doss, Leroy Wells, Jerry Doss, sisters, Louise Simon, Henrietta Schaffer and Lula Williams.

Jimmie is survived by his wife Betty Mae Doss, children Jamie Doss Hill, Jimmie Dale Doss Jr. and his wife Doris Doss, step children Kendrick Jones and Yolanda Jones, brother Roosevelt Doss and sister Ruby Doss Coleman, grandchildren: Jimmie Dale Doss III, Jade Doss, Jamicia Doss and Gloria Warren, great-grandchildren: Christin Williams, Jaminah Doss, Ayana Williams, King Burks, Jayce Speller Jersey Speller and Juell Speller and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
