Jimmy was a graduate of Haltom High School. He also attended Tarrant County College’s North East Campus. Jimmy’s all-time favorite pastime was baseball. He was the New York Yankee’s biggest fan! He loved to play and coach baseball.
Jimmy found his home away from home in the staff and students of Haltom High School, where he substituted and found joy in spending time with the students. Jimmy will be remembered for his unique character and wit. In his later years, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apple of his eye. As long as he was spending time with them, he was happy. Jimmy was a very caring and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his wife, Pam Dollar and his parents, Jim and Jenny Dollar. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Melinda Dollar-Wilson and her husband Kenneth; Jennifer Lederman, and Rosanne Neff and her husband, Robert; grandchildren, Luke Dollar, Faith Wilson and Brooklyn Wilson; Steven Withrow and wife, Brittany; Andrew Misczak and wife, Kimber; and great-grandchildren, Sophia Sanchez, Steven Withrow, Addison Withrow, and Jameson Misczak. He is also survived by brothers, Scott Dollar, Travis Dollar and his wife, Dee; sisters, Sharon Dollar, and her husband, Doug Baker and Barbara Quinn, and her husband, Ed. Jimmy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that all held a very special place in his heart.
