John "David" Gardner, 75, passed into the loving presence of his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 30, 2016, after a long battle with numerous ailments. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at Grace Lutheran Church, 7900 McCart Ave., 76123. David was the caring son of Ambros and Bonnie Gardner and was a committed and adoring husband, father and grandfather. David worked most of his life as a manager in many different employment areas, including, but not limited to, the jewelry industry. His hobbies included mathematics and sports but primarily he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was dedicated to his loved ones and always put their needs first and foremost. He was committed to assisting them at every turn of their lives. He will be greatly missed by them all. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Fay; son, Lance Gardner and wife, Laura; daughter, Lisa; sisters, Jean and Doris; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
