Johnnie Lee Russell went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Otis Russell and son, Randy Russell. Dr. Montie Pentecost, of Heritage Baptist Church in Benbrook, will be officiating the Celebration of Life of Mrs. Russell. She is survived by her son: Gary Russell and his wife, Beverly, daughter-in-law: Brenda Russell, grandchildren: Kelly, Doug, Richmond, Zachary, Carrie, Justin, and Damon, many great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Humane Society of Navarro County. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff and residents of Brookdale-Sterling House of Corsicana for their love and care throughout the years.
