She was born on December 14, 1933, to Raymond and Ivy E. (Sadler) Bristow in Frisco, Texas.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Elder, and her children, Janet Lynne Elder and Philip Lloyd Elder.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna Sue Maas (Richard) of Winston Salem, NC, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Sue was a strong prayer warrior and a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life for Sue Elder will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, with a viewing from 10 to 11 am, and service from 11 am to 12 pm at Gambrell Street Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, followed by her interment at Laurel Land Cemetery
