Joyce was born in Excelsior Springs, Missouri on February 3, 1954 to parents, Roger and Mary Bleich Sr., where she was one of six children. She met Butch, the love of her life, in 1978 and they were married soon after. Joyce and Butch moved around some before settling in the Dallas Fort Worth Area to raise their family. She spent life working while putting family first — always ready with a listening ear, a helping hand, or a warm smile.
Joyce is survived by her daughter Carman Kumaga; son Ben Kelton and his partner Erin Rhode; grandson Cain Kumaga; sisters Barbara(Phil) Nichols and Kay Carver; along with many extended family members and friends. Her presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband William “Butch” Kelton;parents Roger Sr. and Mary Bleich; and siblings Virginia Fischer,Roger Bleich Jr., and Marsha Roberts; with whom she is now reunited.
Joyce will be remembered not only for her strength and independence but for the care she poured into her relationships and the lasting impact she made on those around her.
