June Edwards

June was born on October 12, 1937, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Ottis Caddell and Ruth Eaton Caddell, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, C L Edwards.

June devoted her life to her family, her faith, and serving others. Her faith was central to who she was, and she faithfully served in the women’s ministry at her church, and encouraging others. June especially cherished time spent having lunch with friends, where laughter and prayer were often a part of those gatherings.

She leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor her legacy: her son Jeff Edwards (Cindy) and her daughter Tammy Hardisty and her grandchildren, Dustin Edwards, Jenna Edwards, Justin Hardisty and family, Aaron Hardisty and family, sister-in-law Betty Edwards, and several nieces and their families.

Her family rejoices in the promise that she is now fully healed, at peace, and resting in the presence of her Savior.

A service to celebrate June’s life will be held on January 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Laurel Land Funeral Home, Fort Worth, Texas.

Following the graveside service, a catered reception will take place in the front reception room at Laurel Land Funeral Home, also located at 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134, from 2:45 pm to 4:45 pm.
