Survivors: Six children, Elma Doris Howard, Lawrence Howard Jr., Gerald Howard, Bentley Howard, Burnis Howard and John Erik Howard; five grandchildren, Shannon, Quashon, Evelyn, Michelle, and Marie Howard; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson, Braylen Tate; special niece, Glenda Young Wallace; and a host of other relatives and friends.
