Kellie was born September 22, 1964 in Fort Worth, Texas to parents Robert and Virginia Thornhill. She grew up in Crowley, Texas and was very proud of her Texas roots.
The only thing Kellie loved more than the Dallas Cowboys, was her family and friends. She devoted her life to her children, pouring love into every detail of being their mother and sharing her pride of her two girls often. She was an equally devoted friend who brought joy and laughter to any situation and who would do absolutely anything to help those she loved.
Kellie enjoyed football, great music, horse racing, lots of coffee, home grown tomatoes, good margaritas and making others laugh as much as possible.
In her last few years, Kellie took the opportunity to move in with her daughter to be there for the birth of her first grandchild. While it required her to move away from her beloved Texas, it did enable her to establish her oft-used phrase: “Hi, I’m Kellie from Texas, but you can call me Grandma!”
Kellie was a selfless, fun-loving, and thoughtful person who will be missed by many.
Survivors include her daughter Chelsie Stout and husband Brandon Stout; daughter Victoria Mutter; granddaughters Sloan and Jordan Stout; sister Kim Hayes and brother Bobby Thornhill.
A memorial service for Kellie will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Laurel Land Funeral Home in the Chapel of the Chimes, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
