

Larry was born in Beaumont, Texas, April 22nd, 1945, the second child of Thomas and Agnes Reilly. Larry Lynn Reilly Sr. passed away Sunday, March 14th, 2021 at the age of 75. He was born in Beaumont, Texas, April 22nd, 1945, the second child of Thomas and Agnes Reilly.
Eighteen months later Larry would meet his brother and best friend Gary. They were inseparable until Larry graduated from Trimble Tech High School in 1965. Larry then enlisted in the United States Navy where he enjoyed serving our country, traveling, and learning the trade of welding. He was fond of repairing boats at the Mariner, a family-owned boat shop and had a project boat or motor all his life to tinker with.
Larry married Necie Lanell in 1970 after a whirlwind courtship. They recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary. Larry and Necie raised four children, David Chasteen, Larry Reilly Jr, Joyce Chasteen and Carey Hamilton in the home he and family built by hand in South Fort Worth. He was a quiet but an exceptionally loving husband and father who spoiled his children, grandchildren, and dogs.
Larry was a model ship enthusiast and collector. He loved to garden and always grew plenty of okra and squash. In his later years you would find him watching westerns and game shows.
Larry will be sadly missed by his wife, Necie Lanell Reilly; daughter, Carey Wells-Hamilton and son, Larry Reilly Jr.; three grandchildren, Megan Wells, Matthew Wells and Macsen Reilly Hamilton; a brother, Gary Reilly, a sister, Stayce Castillo and one great grandchild, Dean Wells; as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Agnes Reilly; and his brother, Mike Reilly.
