Funeral: 8 a.m. Saturday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Laura moved to Fort Worth in 1957. She taught during her 30-year career at Diamond Hill Jarvis High School, Paschal High School and J.P. Elder Middle School. She ended her teaching career at Eastern Hills High School in 1994.
Survivors: Daughters, Robin Frye of Fort Worth, Jamie Fryrear of San Diego; her brother, Tom Corder, of northern California; and grandchildren, Jasmine and Peyton Fryrear, also of San Diego.
