Laveorn Clement

Laveorn Clement was born in Marshall, Texas on September 17, 1945. Eloquently known as "Lil Sister" was the 12th child of Augustus Williams Sr. and Adrian Cooper-Williams. She joined St. John Baptist Church of Marshall, Texas and learned to love the Lord at an early age. She attended H.B. Pemberton High School. She later moved to Fort Worth, Texas where she joined other family members at Rising Star Baptist Church. Laveorn married in June 1967 and in that union, she birthed two children, Gary Clement & Jeffery Clement. Upon her divorce, she became a production worker and held various positions.

Laveorn was pro-active in everything she did. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family at annual reunions and other gatherings. She loved her church family and always found ways to be involved. Her favorite color was purple. To help pass the time, she would complete cross-word puzzles and watch Lifetime movies.

Laveorn departed from her earthly vessel on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents: Augustus Williams Sr. and Adrian Cooper-Williams, brothers: Louis Karl "Deany", Augustus Williams Jr "Buddy", Tommy Williams, Lorenzo Williams, Charles Williams and John W. Williams; sisters: Marie Harper "Big Sister", Otha Virginia Williams & Clarice Brazile, Niece/Sister: Jewel Williams.

Left to cherish precious memories are sons: Gary Clement, Jeffery Clement (Robynne), grandchildren: Sameria Clement, Gary Clement Jr (Dana), Jerone Clement, great-grandchildren: Matthew McBride, Deja Clement, Noah McBride, Gary Clement III, Gianna Clement, & Ja' Ire Clement, Siblings: Joe Bonimo Williams of Fort Worth, Texas, Robert Lewis Williams (Ann) of Elysian Fields, Texas, Dorothy Williams of Fort Worth, Texas, Sister-In-Laws: Gladys Williams of Fort Worth, Texas, and Gwen Williams of Marshall, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
