Lavonia graduated from Arlington Heights High School.
She was married to Danny Joe Bailey on November 2, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Lavonia had a passion for flying as a private pilot and enjoyed playing slot machines.
She was survived by her husband Dan Bailey, her daughter Talana Halve, son-in-law Duncan Halve, Grandson and wife, Jason and Lindey Duncan, Great Granddaughter Molly Duncan, Sister Sharon Owens, Sisters-in-law Danielle and Linda Bailey, Nephews and Nieces Will and Shannon Bailey, Jeff and Jenne Bailey, Brandon and Lindsay Heath, Debbie and Red Mantooth, Great Nieces and Nephew Halle, Brooke and Courtney Bailey, Isabella and Pierce Heath.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 2pm, September 2 at Laurel Land
