Lawrence 'Larry' Champagne, 85, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2nd. Larry was born December 23, 1930 in Houston, Texas. Larry was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed making knives for many years and loved hunting more than anything. He retired from Southwestern Bell (AT&T) after 43 years of service and he was a navy veteran. He is survived by his three children: Lawrence F. Champagne Il and wife Glenda of Dripping Springs, TX, Bryan J. Champagne and wife Julie of Burleson, TX and Tina M. Champagne of Fort Worth, TX, four grandchildren, Carmen, Allison, Cody, Caden, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends. Service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 10 AM at The Chapel of Chimes, Laurel Land Funeral Home 7100 Crowley Road in Fort Worth, TX. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 10 from 2-4 PM at the funeral home.
