Lawrence was born July 28, 1931 to Floyd and Minnie Sisk in Batesville, AR. He served in the ROTC, National Guard, and Army during the Korean War. After leaving the service he worked for an Ice Company in Jonesboro, AR. After moving to Little Rock, AR he earned his Licensed Vocational Psychiatric Nursing Degree. Back in Texas he worked a 23 year nursing related career.
Lawrence was a devoted Christian, and truly believed in the Message of the 3 Angels. Losing his father at 12 years old, and enduring many obstacles in life solidified his belief in, “Thy will be done.”
Lawrence is survived by his daughter, Deborah Hill (Charles); grandsons, Timothy Melancon (Kylie), Jonathan Melancon (Crystal); step grandson, Trenton Hill (Carly); great grandchildren including step, Noah, Collin, Evan, Ashton, Jude, Darrell, Kaidon, Kristopher, and Shaelyn; great, great grandchild, Phoenix; and his brother, David Sisk.
